SUMMARY:  Management Business Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst for a high-impact, high-visibility role in our client’s Finance and Accounting organization.  This role partners and collaborates with Finance, Legal, HR, Operations, IT, and Sales to lead, collect and incorporate new information into the monthly close and financial reporting processes.  In addition to general ledger consolidation, finance and operations expectations, this role will include technical financial research, technical memo development, and preparation of SEC financial reporting disclosures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Lead the month-end and quarterly closing processes, preparing financial analyses, journal entries and account reconciliations to support accounting and financial reporting.

·        Prepare, analyze and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial information, as well as financial analyses, results explanations and variance discussion materials for the CFO and Corporate Controllership.

·        Ensure compliance with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and local, state, and federal tax regulations.

·        Lead system upgrades and implementation projects to optimize accounting automation activities.

·        Act as the primary liaison with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation to ensure clear results.

·        Assist in preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts, monitoring expenses, and conducting variance analyses.

·        Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA a plus.

•       3+ years’ experience in Public Accounting, and strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting, required.

•       Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy, and advanced Excel skills, required.

•       Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.

•       Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, and prioritize workload effectively and independently to meet tight deadlines.

•       Demonstrated competencies in taking initiative, working independently or as part of a team.

•       Able to manage sensitive and confidential data, information, and situations with tact and professionalism.

•       Semiconductor manufacturing product experience a plus.
